Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the rules and restrictions for using the services provided by IppoHost. By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms & Conditions.

The purpose of this AUP is to ensure fair usage, legal compliance, and the protection of our network, infrastructure, and other customers.

1. Prohibited Content

Customers are not permitted to host, transmit, or distribute the following:

Malware, viruses, worms, trojans, or any malicious software.
Phishing websites or fraudulent services.
Content promoting hate speech, violence, terrorism, or discrimination.
Pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit material.
Pirated software, cracked applications, or copyrighted materials without authorization.
Content that violates applicable laws or regulations in India or internationally.

2. Email and Messaging Abuse

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

Sending bulk unsolicited emails (spam).
Harvesting or collecting email addresses without consent.
Use of our servers or networks for mass mailing, unless approved (e.g., transactional emails).
Running mailing lists without proper opt-in mechanisms.
Sending abusive, harassing, or deceptive messages.

3. Resource Usage

To maintain server stability and performance for all customers:

Running resource-intensive scripts, bots, or applications that degrade server performance is not allowed.
Excessive CPU, RAM, or bandwidth usage may result in temporary suspension.
Shared hosting customers may not run background processes, game servers, or cryptocurrency mining.
Any attempt to bypass resource limits (e.g., through multiple accounts) is strictly prohibited.

4. Security and Network Integrity

You must not engage in activities that compromise the security of IppoHost or other networks:

Unauthorized access attempts (“hacking”, “brute force”, or penetration testing without consent).
Launching denial of service (DoS/DDoS) attacks.
Disrupting, intercepting, or monitoring communications without authorization.
Circumventing authentication or security measures of any system.

5. Legal Compliance

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including ICANN policies for domain registrations.
Hosting services must not be used for fraud, identity theft, or illegal financial activities.
Content or actions that violate intellectual property rights, privacy laws, or data protection rules are prohibited.

6. Enforcement

Violation of this AUP may result in warning, suspension, or immediate termination of your services without refund.
Serious violations (e.g., hosting illegal material, launching attacks) may be reported to law enforcement authorities.
IppoHost reserves the right to review content and usage for compliance with this AUP.

7. Responsibility

Customers are responsible for all activity conducted through their accounts.
Resellers are responsible for ensuring that their clients comply with this AUP.
You are required to maintain secure passwords and update scripts/applications to prevent abuse.

If you become aware of any violations of this AUP, please report them immediately to:

9. Changes to AUP

IppoHost may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the revised effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
